Foundry Casting manufactures custom hot forged carbon steel mechanical parts from approved customer drawings or physical samples. These parts are made to provide mechanically loaded parts with forged structure and machined functional surfaces. The product geometry, operating environment, mating interfaces, quantity, and verification requirements are reviewed before production.
Billet size, preform, die design, grain flow, trimming, heat treatment, and machining allowance are reviewed for the approved geometry. Particular attention is given to grain flow, section transition, forging draft, machining allowance, heat-treatment condition, and load path. Material, dimensions, tolerances, heat-treatment condition, surface finish, and inspection requirements are confirmed for each order. Secondary work may include trimming, heat treatment, shot blasting, cnc turning and milling, drilling, and coating as specified.
Inspection items, methods, and acceptance criteria are agreed before production. Packaging and the delivery schedule are confirmed after the product requirements, quantity, and shipping method have been reviewed.
